| 1: Unless specifically noted otherwise, our Daily Rates include our professional guide service, all meals, accommodation, non-alcoholic beverages, tags, weapons, use of our hunting dogs (where applicable) and services of our Aboriginal assistants (where applicable). Alcoholic beverages are included where not excluded by law such as on some Aboriginal lands. Permits/Licenses and ammunition are supplied at cost price. A maximum of twelve clients (depending on the hunting concession concerned, and including hunters & non-hunters) can be catered for at any one time.
2A: For trophy hunts, 40% of the applicable total daily rate (or 40% of the package rate for package hunts) for your hunt is required as a deposit at the time of booking for the booking to be confirmed. The balance of the Daily Rate/Package fee, plus extra costs such as trophy fees that are incurred during the safari are payable at the conclusion of your safari and prior to you leaving our company.
Trophy Fees include detailed caping, salting, care of capes / skins and boiling of tusks/skulls/horns where required. Trophy Fees do not include delivery to the taxidermist, tanning, taxidermy or the freight costs of your completed trophies to your home. A quotation of this cost will be provided as soon as possible after the conclusion of your safari and depends on the number of trophies, their weight and size. In the rare event where an animal is wounded and not subsequently located, the applicable Trophy Fee will be payable by the client.
2B: For varmint hunts, (where trophies are not usually taken), 50% of the Daily Rate is due on the day of booking, and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. If animals are taken as trophies, the applicable trophy fees will be payable at the conclusion of the safari.
2C: The balance of the safari fees due is as per the fee schedule supplied to our clients prior to the safari commencement. Should the balance of the safari fees due at the conclusion of the safari not be paid prior to the client leaving our company, we reserve the right to charge all and any fees due to the client's credit card(s), where we have previously been supplied with the credit card details and have processed charges on the same.
3A: A minimum cancellation fee of US$500 or 10% of the total safari cost (whichever is the greater) is applicable if a client or agent or any other person acting on behalf of the client with the clients express permission cancels the safari.
Additionally, if the safari is cancelled:
Between 7 and 30 days prior to the scheduled commencement date, 50% of the safari deposit will be forfeited.
Less than 7 days prior to the scheduled commencement date, the safari deposit will be forfeited.
3B: Where the client(s) chooses to cut short a hunt, such as (but not limited to) when he has taken his desired list of animals prior to the last scheduled day, no refund of the unused days Daily Rates will be payable.
4: We realise that unavoidable problems such as illness or unexpected work commitments can disrupt plans for your safari. Therefore we will make every effort possible to move your safari to another mutually convenient date, and without penalty to you, should such problems arise.
5: Participation in a safari conducted by Australian Hunting Safaris Pty Ltd, it's subcontractors or agents, confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions. |
