   We shoot over 100,000 acres in Shropshire and Mid Wales, on land holding good quantities of pigeons which come every year to feed on our fertile cereal crop farms.
Pigeon shooting can be some of the most exciting shooting, with birds approaching from all angles and heights. This wary bird can flare and turn at the most inopportune moment, usually as the hunter is about to pull the trigger.
Because of the nature of this wild bird and changing crops we spend hours travelling over our hunting area to find where the pigeons are feeding ready for the next days shooting.
Our pigeon shooting starts in February. The shooting is done from hides over decoys on crops such as oil seed rape, barley, wheat, peas and beans, with some fields being fed to attract the pigeons at certain times of the year.
We end spring shooting early April and then start again July 1st through to the middle of September.
Bags vary season to season and week to week. In an average season we shoot over 10,000 pigeons.
We cater for parties of between 4 and 6 guns. Bed and breakfast accommodation is available in our traditional log cabins, built from whole trees. A packed lunch can be ordered from your host with evening meals available in a variety of restaurants and eating-houses locally.
Firearm and Shotgun Permits
We will arrange your shotgun permit. We require details for permits a minimum of 8 weeks in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
For those hunters not wishing to bring their own weapons we have guns available here.
You will not require any English hunting licence to hunt on our estates.

FAQ
What to bring
Light waterproof jacket and leggings are advisable. These can be purchased for approx £10 at our cartridge store.
Sun protection cream, sun hat.
How many will we shoot?
We cannot guarantee wild bird shooting. We will endeavour to find birds. We have days from 20 pigeons per day to red letter days of between 100 and 150.
Decoying
We use pigeon magnets also freshly killed pigeons for decoy patterns. All hides and chairs are supplies and erected by ourselves.

Cartridges are purchased direct from the store by you using my discount prices.

Accommodation
B&B accommodation is supplied in our luxury Swedish style log cabins overlooking our fishing lakes. Rooms are twin bedded, a supplement is charged for single occupancy. A packed lunch can be supplied.
