Your hosts Alex and Cathy Kirkman are both licensed professional hunters. Alex and his two professional hunters Kobus and Johan will be your guides. Cathy, a trained nurse, is in charge of the supplies, food, licenses, trophy export etc.
Big game (Lion, leopard, buffalo, hippo, elephant, crocodile) and Plains game (kudu, zebra, giraffe, waterbuck, sable, eland, tssesebe, wildebeest, bushbuck, klipspringer, reedbuck, hyena, grysbuck, impala, warthog, bushpig, caracal, serval, civet, genet, duiker, porcupine, wildcat, steenbuck, jackal, baboon) can all be hunted.
Accommodation varies from luxury thatched lodges with swimming pools, bars and en-suite bedrooms, to tented camps with generated electricity. The type of accommodation depends on what and where you are hunting.
When hunting dangerous game you are likely to be in remote areas where accommodation is basic, but always having the essentials, hot water, toilets, someone to do your laundry and someone to cook good food.
You will have the chance to sample some outstanding culinary delights from the bush, many kinds of game (often shot by yourself) and an abundance of fresh vegetables and home made puds. |
